P&K Martinborough’s butchery team has achieved another impressive result at the Great New Zealand Sausage Competition, winning gold for its pork carbonara sausage and silver for its bratwurst.
The competition attracted 869 entries from 126 businesses across New Zealand, making the achievement a fantastic result for the local team.
Over the past four years, P&K has collected five awards: one Elite Gold, two gold and two silver medals across its sausage and patty entries.
Butcher Trudy has been in the industry for less than 10 years, competing against far more experienced butchers and proving that experience isn’t everything.
Alongside Luke and Ben, Trudy is helping put P&K Martinborough on the map, with the team continuing to punch above its weight on the national stage.
