Save the date – Saturday 5th December.
Martinborough’s annual community Christmas celebration returns with many groups pitching in this year to help organise a great event.
The afternoon kicks off with the Christmas Parade at 4pm, organised by the Martinborough Business Association, with the help of the Martinborough Community Board and the Martinborough Lions Club. The parade is followed by entertainment starting with Marty the Dog for the kids in the crowd, followed at 5pm by the beautiful sound of the Hau Ariki Waiata group. At 5:30, fresh from their successful production in June, the MADCAPS Christmas Rockers show features local talent singing Christmas favourites and classic tunes to get you up and dancing, while at 6:30 Short Circuit caps off the evening with rockin’ covers to keep you grooving.
There will be kids activities, food trucks, and a sausage sizzle put on by the local JAB, so come on down and kick off the Christmas season!
