Here at Heartlands, we are excited to host two months of free community whānau workshops starting in May. The sessions are designed to bring families together, create connection, and provide practical tools that help whānau thrive through all stages of life. These upcoming workshops offer a welcoming, inclusive space for parents, caregivers, and other whānau members to learn, share, and grow together.
The workshops focus on real-life issues faced by families in our rural communities. With 20 different sessions covering everything from supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and understanding neurodiversity, to strengthening communication and building resilience, the workshops provide practical, easy-to-use strategies. Sessions are delivered by experienced facilitators and local organisations who understand the unique strengths and pressures of whānau living in the South Wairarapa.
Topics include:
- Using Cloth Nappies
- Te Reo for Tamariki
- Autism 101
- Finding Calm for Ourselves and Our Children
- Picky Eating
- And so much more!
Whether you’re a new parent, a caregiver supporting a teenager, a grandparent or a teacher, these free community workshops are for you. We would love to see you here at Heartlands, 39 Jellicoe Street, Martinborough.
