It’s business as usual for Mr. Jim Brasell.

Well this cold weather has got everyone hunkered down under blankets here at Wharekaka.  It’s become quite a challenge to entice the residents out of their warm rooms.

A big thank you to Cherry and Vickie for their wonderful concert held here the other week. Thank you also to Carol Butler for taking the time to come in to call the bingo numbers, very much appreciated.

We welcome the Martinborough Spinning group who came in for a visit. Any group or person who would like to come and share their crafts or hobbies with us would be most welcome. Does anyone have any ideas for an Arty Crafty day once a month? Or would somebody like to start a cards group once a week or fortnight at Wharekaka?

Anyone can volunteer at the Resthome, maybe you have your own activity you would like to do with the Residents, give Wendy a call on 3069701 between 9am and 3pm weekdays.
