Dog park
I am writing to further the comments made for and against the dog park in my street.
I have seen lots of people work or run past with their dogs on their way to the park with those ladle looking
dog throwing things and even asked people about the park, they love it, and more importantly their dog loves it!!
Dogs get socialised and exercised and therefore happier, no barking from boredom!

Tidy streets
Having just spent a few days residing in Masterton, it was a pleasure to return home to Martinborough’s almost litter-free streets. Recently there have been a few residents who take a plastic bag when out walking and collect discarded cans, bottles etc to dispose of using our recycling service.

I would like to offer a challenge to rugby players and supporters on Saturdays [mostly] to ensure the grass verges and streets bordering the rugby grounds are left tidy too. It’s not rocket science to use the bin or preferably take your rubbish home for the recycling bins. Are you up for it?
Maree Roy.
