Hello from Martinborough Plunket

September 10, 2012 September 2012 No Comments

Winter is really here so we hope you have been keeping warm during the cold snaps..  if you feel up to some company and a cuppa pop into the Plunket rooms on Monday 10th Sept for our next morning tea play group..If you’re not sure which Monday we’re open just drive past to see the poster in the window with the schedule of dates, as we’re trying the fortnightly option over winter.

Our coffee morning dates are 10th Sept and 24th Sept.

Do try and join us Monday 10th Sept at 10.30am – 12.00 at the Martinborough Plunket rooms, we’re hosting presenter Tiff North who will be talking  about the 6 principles of Conscious parenting for happy capable kids… and Annette the Karitane nurse will also be present.

Hope you have managed to pick up a raffle ticket of our latest fund raiser- be in  double tickets to the World of Wearable Arts Show based in Wellington (WOW) and dinner voucher to be used at Logan Brown… tickets have been selling at Mitre10. There are also some on the counter in the clothing dept, Maree tells us they are selling fast..!
Remember if you are at a loose end on a Monday morning come along to the Plunket rooms (next to Play Centre on Venice Street) we have our regular coffee play group that starts at 10.30am. Check in the window for a large A3 poster with dates you can come in for coffee group & play time. We’ll also post a ‘reminder’ on our Wairarapa Plunket Facebook page  so be sure to add us as a ‘friend’.

Lastly, our Martinborough Plunket Committee is a (cheerful) small group that meets up once a month (over great cake and hot chocolate!..)  to discuss those all important ‘Plunket involved things’ that our local community in Martinborough benefit from, and without them donating their time freely to help out, we wouldn’t have those interesting free talks, coffee groups and fund-raising events. We’d love to welcome more people on to our committee, if you have an hour or two to spare come and join us. Phone 3066176 for any queries, we’d love to hear from you.
