Fashion & Desserts! A great evening awaits you!

June 11, 2013 June 2013 No Comments

Martinborough Branch of Rural Women New Zealand is hosting a fundraising Fashion Show by Ballentynes Fashion Centre Masterton and our famous Dessert Buffet Supper.

This is to be held on Friday 12th July 2013, 7pm at the Martinborough Golf Club. Tickets are $20 with a cash bar and are available from:
Janice Mills 3078895, Jocelyn Colton 3077862 and Caroline Ross 3069143

The proceeds raised will be donated to Wellington@Heart.  Almost every week, at least one of the twelve babies born in New Zealand with a congenital heart defect becomes part of Wellington@Heart.

Wellington@Heart is a not-for-profit organisation that does not receive any government funding. They rely solely on donations to continue their work with the over 300 families in the greater Wellington region including approximately 40 families currently living in the Wairarapa. It provides functional and emotional support services to kids, teens, adults and families affected by childhood heart conditions.

Wellington@Heart is a group of parents and caregivers of children with heart conditions and knows from first-hand experience how important at-home support is.

Wellington@Heart is putting together a weekend for strong@heart Mums who all have children with congenital heart defects and have faced many challenges. It is hard to get a break when you are a Mum and even more so with a medically dependent child. They want to offer these women a break emotionally and physically that they deserve.

RWNZ Martinborough is supporting this worthy cause.
Come help us make it happen!
