Tuhirangi came out the winners of this year’s match played at their home ground, Pirinoa. As usual it was a close game hard fought to the very end.
Martinborough scored first but Tuhirangi came back with two tries to clinch the game 10 – 8. Player of he match was Dan Phillips.

First an apology and a big thank you to Peter Hudson and his wife for their efforts in organising the Neil Smith Tournament. It was Peter who thought of the yellow balls and the handsome trophy. He also arranged for Mary to come down and present the trophy. Thanks again Peter.

Barbara Smith who has been an absolute pillar of the club and has been Ladies Club Champion twice has given up after 56 years at the Club. Well done Barbara we wish you well in your retirement with husband Bob, another pillar of the Club. … Continue Reading

Greetings readers and very best wishes for 2012.

We at the Club have had a very busy holiday season with a lot of visitors who were all impressed with our course presented to them by “Manpower”; he truly does a very good job.
Club Captain Kris Chamberlain remains at the helm and in December a Thursday was put aside to play for a trophy remembering Neil Smith who passed away 13 months ago. The trophy made by Graham Jacobson was won by an ecstatic Roger Parkinson and Mary Smith presented it to him.
