Earlier this year long time Martinborough resident Pat Wright passed away in Perth Western Australia where she was living with her eldest daughter Vicki.

Another month has flown by at Wharekaka. The flowers are starting to bloom and the oak trees are now covering in bright green leaves – Summer is on the way!!
We have had a busy action packed month. Martinborough School Kapa Haka Group entertained the residents with lovely singing. We visited the Martinborough School Pet day, along with our regular Tai Chi, Happy Hour, Rummy and Bingo to keep everyone busy and active. Lisa & Frank Cornelissen are delighted that their park, Martinborough Holiday Park, has been accepted into the TOP 10 Holiday Parks Group. They have been steadily improving the park since leasing it from South Wairarapa District Council six years ago. Martinborough TOP 10 Holiday Park now has a Qualmark 4+
