The weather Gods were smiling on this year’s Ngawi Big 3 Fishing contest with the contestants enjoying what one described as “awesome days”. Once again members of the Tuhirangi Rugby Club (based at Prirnoa) provided the tractors and manpower to launch and retrieve the contestants boats. With 132 boats entered the launching each morning and towing back again in the afternoon this was quite an undertaking.
In all 440 angler , boat and land based took part in the competition.
