E-books are now on-line at the library. You can download from our webside wls.org.nz simply by clicking on the ‘Download e-books/audiobooks’ icon, entering your library card number and then selecting what you would like to load on to your laptop, e-reader, ipad etc.

Letters

Hi
We were in town early in the new year and had a great experience from one of your local shops. We were one of a large group of 4WD people from Auckland touring around your beautiful countryside, and, not realising that the sun does shine for most of the day, had left any form of hats behind. At 7 0’clock one morning we went into New World and asked the ‘stupid’ question – ‘do you sell hats’. “No problem, I’ll grab some keys and help you out”. With that, the shop next door was opened, hats purchased and we were on our way. Our grateful thanks to the New World staff,( somehow I can’t see that happening too often in Auckland.)
Sincerely
Mike & Julie Scherf
