First an apology and a big thank you to Peter Hudson and his wife for their efforts in organising the Neil Smith Tournament. It was Peter who thought of the yellow balls and the handsome trophy. He also arranged for Mary to come down and present the trophy. Thanks again Peter.

The Community Board has approved $15,000 for playground equipment. Plumped up by the council’s $10,000, the amount will buy 3 wonderful
pieces of equipment!
Most of the work has been done by Jo Guscott who has been working closely with the parents and children in finding their preferences.
Its lovely to see the playground so well used every time I drive past.
