Plans are afoot for the region to its own Arts Festival.

The 10 day festival, proposed to be held from October 18 – 27, 2013, will see the region’s woolsheds, wineries, historic homesteads, galleries, theatres and streets come alive with colourful parades, street theatre, dance, exhibitions, workshops, music, theatre and film.

It’s the case of the disappearing P&K’s trolleys. Staff have watched in some alarm as the row of trolleys have steadily shortened to the stage that now David is faced with buying more . And they do not come cheaply.

Thank You to Blood Donors

It doesn’t hurt a bit.

The 109 blood donors and nearly blood donors deserve a huge thank you for coming to the P and K Blood Day at the Town Hall on 14th June 87 units were collected, which was only one less than last year.

This was a good result considering the recent wintry blast caused sixteen people to phone in sick early in the week.
