U3A programmes for 2012
U3A (University of the Third Age) is planning for another successful year with groups based in Martinborough and Masterton catering for a wide rage of interests.
U3A is open to everyone and offers a very good alternative for anyone interested in ongoing learning. For $15 for an individual or $25 for a couple a member can attend any or all of the U3A Groups – so it’s great value.
Current Affairs.
This group meets over morning tea every third Wednesday of the month at the Village Café commencing 9.15

The Book Group meets on the first Monday of the month at the Wharekaka Day Room commencing at 1.30pm.

3rd Tuesday of he month from 10am until noon at the Education Centre.
Autobiography and Journalism
3rd Monday of each month at REAP House commencing at 1.30pm
Italian language and culture
Meets every Friday at the Education Centre commencing at 11am
French conversation
Meets at the education Centre on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Fridays at the Education Centre between 1 and 3 pm.
Philosophy
Meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month at the Education Centre commencing at 1pm.
