Marty Rugby

rugbyMarty Senior rugby team kicked off the season with an emphatic win over Puketoi 73 -5. The first try was scored by Jared Hawkins dotting down in just 1 minute 10 seconds from the whistle. Top try scorers were Nathan Hunt with 4 trys and Josh Hawkins getting 2 under his belt.Tipi Haira top scored for Marty with 23 points.

Martinborough won/lost against Gladstone at Gladstone ( copy to be inseretd once we know the result.

This week the boys are up against away/home so if you have a chance come and support the guys. Keep an eye out for the seniors draw, it is yet to be confirmed but we will publish it once we know more.

The Senior reserves coached by trevor Hawkins will start their season on March 6th April.

JABS had an awesome response to registration day and it looks like there will be quite a few little tackers running out on the park on saturday mornings.

All the old boys keep your diary clear as Old timers day is on the Saturday, 11th May.
