Conor Kershaw with daughter Luella at the Mitre10 re-launch

P & K Mitre 10 has finished its revamp and there were celebrations over the first weekend in October. A festive atmosphere greeted customers as people checked out the latest changes to their home improvement store. Spot prizes from 6 burner BBQs to outdoor setting were given away and there was a helium balloon for every kid who came along. Store owner Conor Kershaw was wrapt with the support shown by the community.

Martinborough’s P& K Mitre 10 is the 2nd store in NZ to be re-branded in the signature Mitre 10 colours, orange and black. The change has been made to better align the strength that Mitre MEGA offer to provincial New Zealand. P & K customers will be able acess the total range on offer from Mitre 10’s biggest MEGAs at the same prices, through a special order programme.

Conor Kershaw said he and his team have been working extra long hours to make the conversion and rearrange the shop to accommodate a bigger range of electrical appliances, fireplaces, bathroom fittings, lighting and more.

Conor took over ownership of the Mitre 10 from his father one year ago and said he is excited to be upgrading the business and putting his own stamp on it. He is now the fourth generation of the family to be involved in ownership of Pain and Kershaw Ltd.
