City meets country happened when 27 students, who are deaf, came from Wellington and from other parts of the Wairarapa to attend the Pet Day at Kahutara School. Thank you all for making us so welcome and giving us our own exhibition table and certificates. 

The highlight for most students was to be able to pat lambs and calves, and some students even got to give a bottle  of milk to a lamb for the first time! This was a day to remember and also a great opportunity for our students, who are all mainstreamed in different schools, to get together. Well done Kahutara School!
