Martinborough’s Own Wearables Fun Evening was an entertaining event, and it lived up to our expectations! The hall looked amazing especially with the mannequins decorating the stage
From the clothing swap team modelling their best finds, to a quiz on designer clothes, spot prizes, a generous supper, a silent auction and a trophy, there was something for everyone
Each table had to volunteer a person to model some of the interesting clothes that have been donated to Clothing Swap and that was probably the highlight of the evening as imaginative outfits took to the runway. We wondered whether anyone would be willing to change their clothes, but each volunteer really entered into the fun spirit of the night.
This is such a generous community. I counted thirty-four sponsors for our evening. The donations were used for the silent auction, prizes on the night and wine for the bar. Without these contributions it would have been a much less exciting affair. This is why I love Martinborough. Thank you so much to everyone who made it happen.
We raised $2930 for the Hall. And yes, there will be another one next year in February
