Winter has kept us busy here in Martinborough, and we’re delighted to use this month’s column to welcome some new faces to the Business Association family and share a few updates.
A warm welcome to our newest members: Stoney Farm (Martinborough Truffles), Soi-3 – Kitchen and Bar, Teletronics, and The Village Cafe. Martinborough’s business community keeps growing, and having businesses across hospitality, technology and rural sectors join us only strengthens what we can offer our members and our town.

A special shout-out to Teletronics, who’ve kept Wairarapa connected for over 40 years with broadband, radio and IoT solutions. A huge thank you to Scott Bensemann and the team for generously sponsoring the NVR that keeps our local camera system up and running – this kind of support is exactly what helps keep Martinborough safe and connected, and we’re incredibly grateful.
We’re still buzzing from the success of Pour and Explore, our month-long winter initiative bringing together wine, food, olive oil, arts and local hospitality to showcase everything that makes Martinborough special during the quieter months. Seeing the community and our members pull together for events like this is exactly why we do what we do, and we can’t wait to build on it.
As an Association, we’re always looking at new ways to raise the bar and bring more business through our members’ doors. To that end, we’re getting back into running monthly B@5 events from October, ranging from guest speakers to workshops. Got a new product, space, or menu you’re wanting to launch? A B@5 is the perfect place to introduce it to the community – this is where small towns thrive, through word of mouth. If you’d like to host one, get in touch.
Mark your calendars too: our MBA AGM is on Wednesday 9 September 2026, 5:30 to 7:00pm, hosted at our newest member Soi-3 – Kitchen and Bar, Martinborough’s newest Thai-inspired restaurant.
Not yet a member? Now’s a great time to join us – email info@martinboroughnz.com to find out more, or to host a B@5.
