At Martinborough Kindergarten our tamariki have been busy learning about sustainability over the past few years.
Part of this valuable learning journey has been engaging the children in making paper bricks from our shredded paper waste. Through this hands-on experience, they explore recycling in action, work together as a team, and discover how everyday waste can be transformed into something useful. We love seeing their enthusiasm, perseverance, and care for the environment as they take on the role of Kaitiaki, helping to make a positive difference for our planet. Our paper bricks can be found in our Pataka kai outside of the kindergarten gate on Roberts St.

You will also find fruit and vegetables that we have grown in our kindy garden and that wonderful members of the community have donated. Come by and have a look!
