On behalf of our community and fire crew we would like to thank the Martinborough Ambulance Trust.
This wonderful charitable trust reached out to our Tora community, through our Fire Force and offered their support to us as a medical related group. Their support is a powerful reminder of the sense of community within communities. Our Tora community now has a new Wellington Free Ambulance (WFA) external 24/7 AED, located on the wall of our fire station, as a replacement for a community AED that had come to the end of its lifetime. In addition to this our community was offered a Free 90-minute Heartbeat CPR and AED training session by the WFA for our local community.
The community training session was held 18 May, 2026 on our Training night at our Fire Station.
