Tuesday 7 July 10.00am. The Supper Room, Wahinga Centre. Child And Adult Dyslexia Helped. By The Davis Method. Presented By Rachel Barwell
In July we welcome Rachel Barwell, who brings 30 years of experience in adult and youth education to share how she helps people who have struggled with reading, spelling, writing, comprehension, focus, or mathematics – that is, with dyslexia or a related condition at the heart of each challenge.
Rachel now works with clients ranging from school children to company directors and anyone in between.
Rachel uses the ‘Davis Method’, a fascinating and highly regarded approach that has made a real difference in the lives of many people.
This talk comes to us from a member’s request, and having spoken with Rachel, I believe it will be of interest — particularly if you have children or grandchildren with dyslexia, or if you suspect you may have it yourself. Dyslexics are in good company – Tom Cruise, Woopie Goldberg, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Winston Churchill, Agatha Christie, Pablo Picasso – so don’t let it hold you back!!
