The Martinborough Choir is looking for enthusiastic singers who are keen to come and make music together in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Convenors Victor Lenting and Honor Henderson are planning two initial evening choir sessions on 11th June and 25th June in Martinborough, with a view to singing on a regular basis in the future. There have been various choirs in Martinborough in the past and the aim is to provide an opportunity for people to share the joy of singing in a group in our community.
Victor says if you can read music or have sung in a choir before, that’s a bonus but not absolutely necessary. The choir will focus mainly on four part singing covering a wide range of musical traditions and styles from classical choral music to arrangements of modern pieces. Singers of all ages are welcome, especially tenors and basses.
