You are invited to a community meeting to discuss how Martinborough can make the most of the Wairarapa Five Towns Trail Network and related local trails.
Join us at the Martinborough Town Hall at 7.00pm on Wednesday 15 April to explore the opportunity for Martinborough to become a key “signature” destination on the wider trail network, and to develop local loop trails linking the town with surrounding countryside, vineyards and attractions.
We have invited John Bushnell, who has been involved in the development of cycle and walking trails in the Wairarapa for ten years, to give a presentation outlining plans for the development of a network of cycle trails throughout the Wairarapa. John is Chair of the Greytown Trails Trust, and also a member of the Carterton District Trails Trust. He has been involved in development of plans for a “5 towns trail network” and will be happy to explore what this could mean
for Martinborough.
