Brian is not normally a name you would associate with a gorgeous young Labrador pup but here he is.
Brian moved to Martinborough in April last year, one of 8 pups in the “B” litter at Blind Low Vision NZ. Yes, he is learning to be a Guide Dog and has already showed his proficiency featuring in a TVNZ Seven Sharp item on BLVNZ’s guide dog programme, making his way boldly through an obstacle course.
Brian will be with his Martinborough based ‘teachers’, Martin and Sarah Harvey, for a year to 18 months, depending on how fast he reaches an expected level of maturity.
