Dali Frantoio has been awarded a Gold Medal in New York at the Olympics of extra virgin olive oil, the International Olive Oil Awards 2025.
Olive oil maker, Ross Vintiner said Dali Frantoio, its only entry in the Awards, was a premier olive oil, organically grown in Martinborough and harvested in May 2025.
“We are proud to be awarded a Gold and World’s Best Olive Oil in New York. It’s the highest honour for an olive grower, backing Dali’s two previous World’s Best Olive Oil entries and Awards.
“We are also proud to be ranked 93rd world’s best olive oil producer. This helps lift New Zealand’s recognition as a world’s best olive producer.”
Dali was recently featured on Hyundai Country Calendar, presenting innovative methods to cut grower costs and improve soil, crop and environmental outcomes.
