October’s clothing swap was very popular again, and we seem to have a varied array of clothes in all sizes. Not many men’s or children’s items though.
A teenager was so delighted to find some treasures, and she explained she can’t afford new clothes as being a student at uni there is no money for unnecessary items and here were some she liked and best of all, for free. She is going to return next month.
And then there was the person who bought her sister to one a couple of months ago and the sister went home to Sydney and has since started one there. Maybe this is an international idea!
One woman came searching our racks of clothes for an outfit suitable for a job interview; she didn’t just find one, but several and was so happy with the choices that were available.
And I would like to say thank you to everyone as practically all the clothes we receive are clean and in good condition.
