Winedogs comes to Martinborough

Sept 2025

The Ultimate Day Out for Dogs and Their Humans

Following sell-out success in Hawke’s Bay, Winedogs is heading south for the very first time with paws and pinot in tow, to Luna Estate in Martinborough on Sunday 26 October 2025.

Part synchronised dog walk, part vineyard festival, Winedogs is a day out like no other.

Organised by Napier-based creative agency Kin, the team behind the internationally renowned Big Dog Walk, Winedogs celebrates the unique bond between people and their pups with a little wine and whimsy along the way.

The day begins with a vineyard stroll unlike any other. Dogs and their owners will explore parts of Luna Estate usually off-limits to the public on a synchronised dog walk complete with wine tasting stations, dog treat stops, and unexpected moments of surprise and delight.

Back at the main estate, the celebrations continue with Luna Estate wines, a lineup of delicious food trucks, artisan stallholders, a photo booth, and prizes galore including awards for Best in Show, Best Dog + Owner Lookalike, and Most Stylish Vineyard Fit.

This year, BlackHawk comes on board as the official food sponsor, treating four-legged guests to nutritious meals and tasty samples throughout the day. Humans won’t be left out either. This is a wine event, after all.

Importantly, a portion of proceeds from Winedogs 2025 will go to Chance for Change, supporting the wellbeing and rehoming of New Zealand’s hardest-working canines after a life of service.

Winedogs is expected to welcome around 800 guests and their dogs, making it one of the largest (and most stylish) dog-friendly events in the country.

Tickets are $65 and available now at winedog.co.nz, with VIP, family passes and group ticket options also on sale.
