Val’s legacy of service has supported countless people at home and overseas
That is only a small part of Val’s story. A small gathering of local members recently celebrated Val Johns’ achievement of 50-years of service to the NZ Red Cross. David Priore, Senior Area Partner for Wellington and Wairarapa, presented Val with her 50-year badge in recognition of her half-century of service. Val’s legacy of service has supported countless people at home and overseas, and is a testament to her community spirit, compassion, and hope in a world that remains fractured with ongoing conflict and humanitarian disasters.
