This winter, Martinborough is bringing a splash of warmth and local flair to the colder months with the launch of a month-long initiative, Pour & Explore Martinborough.
The town’s local businesses, wineries, dark skies promoters, creatives and artisans have joined forces to offer an unforgettable winter experience, inviting both locals and visitors to embrace the season through food, wine, and adventure.
Running throughout the month of August Pour & Explore celebrates Martinborough’s rich heritage, renowned wine and olive oil culture, and vibrant community spirit. The initiative aims to attract visitors looking to escape the winter chill with a curated selection of events, activities, and promotions designed to showcase the best of the region.
“We wanted to give people a reason to visit Martinborough in the winter,” said Janice McGee Co- Chair of the Martinborough Business Association. “Our town is full of charm, and this initiative is an opportunity for everyone to discover its warmth and hospitality, even when the temperatures drop. It’s a perfect way to explore the best of local wine, food, retail, olive oil, music and the arts while experiencing something truly unique.”
“Pour & Explore is more than just a wine experience,” said Conor Kershaw, local business owner and major sponsor. “It’s about celebrating what makes Martinborough such a special place to live, work, and play. Our community has come together to create something truly memorable, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
The initiative aims to draw attention to the hidden gems of Martinborough, attracting new visitors while supporting local businesses during the quieter winter months.
