Clothing Swap is, as I envisaged it, well supported by our community, and we have a wide range of clothing (very light on men’s offerings though) in all sizes and of good quality.
And now we have around the same number of items being received as those going out. But what many people have trouble getting their heads around is: this is FREE! There is no charge for any item!
We had a couple from Kapiti come to see what Clothing Swap was about and they were so enthused by the concept, they left with the intention of starting one in their area. Maybe we have started something. There was a group of teenage girls from Wellington, who spent time checking out every rack and who were extremely happy with the treasures they found. They plan to return later in the year.
For anyone of a very small size we were given quite a few really trendy jeans, so come and check them out. Next Clothing Swap: Saturday 19 July, St Andrews’ Church Hall, Dublin St at 10:00 a.m.
