Members of the Parish have been busy creating and erecting new signage at the entrance to the church. This acknowledges that it is a community church – and all interfaith and non-faith are very welcome.
It is very rewarding to be part of a church community that is caring for everyone, this includes the church family and members of the wider community.
Another month is behind us and as we head into April the days are getting shorter and autumn starts to take hold. We can feel the cooler weather in the morning, see the change of colour in the vineyards and start the mass collection of falling leaves.
Burnside Church will be celebrating 150 years on 11 May. There will be a church service to commemorate this at 1:00 p.m. and, following the service, afternoon tea in the Pirinoa Hall. All are very welcome. For catering numbers please email burnsidechurch@hotmail.co.nz or telephone/text Sonya Hume 0276330539 or Tony Didsbury 0274942002 to let them know of
your attendance.
This is a very exciting time for members of the community and a great milestone to have achieved.
