Lawn Tennis Club latest local AED site

Mar 2025

The newest local Automated External Defibrillator has been installed at the Martinborough Lawn Tennis Club, just inside the gate at the corner of Regent Street and Naples Street.

It is available for use 24/7 by any one in the community.

Although the cabinet is locked, to get the code for the cabinet you dial 111 ask for ‘ambulance’ and tell them your location.

It is the first one on the south side of town.

Thanks to all those who gave very generously for the purchase of this AED which includes tennis club members and non-members, people within Martinborough and also gifts from people who live in Wellington.

Martinborough Lions, Trust House Masterton and Martinborough Mitre 10 have also been very generous in their support.

A training course about its use and CPR is on Monday, 10 March at 6:00 p.m. in the meeting room at Martinborough Fire Station. It would help if you could email: mltcaedtraining@gmail.com
