No Mean Feet – Reflexology

By Maureen Hodder Oct 2024

I’m delighted to be providing Reflexology to people in the Wairarapa again.

A gentle relaxing therapy, Reflexology is carried out with only shoes and socks needing to be removed.

Therapies such as Reflexology provide an opportunity to contribute to our own wellness and well-being.

Clients have reported:

  • Improvement in sleep patterns and symptoms from asthma, digestion issues, pain, sinusitis and colds;
  • Increased suppleness in hands or feet (depending on whether treatment was undertaken on the hands or feet);
  • Improved sense of well-being.

A reflexology treatment can result in people experiencing increased relaxation and/or a significant lift in their sense of well-being. Some clients arrive feeling stressed or rushed and I always ask them to compare how they feel following a treatment with how they felt on arrival.

The improvement is obvious, with some clients relaxing so much that they fall asleep! A reduction in stress or improved sense of well-being are both very beneficial to the functioning of the immune system.

I undertake reflexology treatments on the feet, hands or ears and frequently show clients points in these areas to which they can apply pressure to assist with an ongoing improvement in symptoms – empowering clients to take part in their own wellness.

Please contact me if you would like to book a session, or if you’d like to know more.
