The year of the Pump Track – Well, we hope!
The goal has been to build in Autumn, and the only thing standing in our way is raising the funds, so it’s all hands to the pump to pump up the funds and get this project completed!
The project cost is $280,000 and to date, we have raised $60,000. The team behind it are all unpaid volunteers and any funds raised go directly to the project build.
While nutting out the numbers to break down into achievable chunks we realised we had 220 metres of the track to fund and $220,000 to raise.
So simple maths = $1000 per metre. Which led us to a fabulous idea to pitch to local businesses and then a tiered option for families.
Option 1 – Local Business
Pay for 1 meter of track at $1000 The business name will feature on the recognition wall incorporated into the Pump Track Mural, please note we will happily accept multiple metre purchases!
Option 2 -Local Family $500 donation.
The family name will feature on the recognition wall incorporated into the Pump Track Mural.
Option 3 – Host an event
Host an event where funds raised will be donated to the project, examples are Rotary Skyline Ride, Medici Quiz night, and Community Market. If you are keen to jump into one of these options head this way, and reference your business or family name. to Martinborough Youth Trust 01-0671-0004950-00
