It is hard to believe that it is just over 2 years since the passing of Thelma Feist, she was a real stalwart of First Church and very generously gave to a number of organisations in Martinborough and the wider community , one of which was to the Waihenga Trust.
It is lovely to see the new seat that has been organised and purchased by the Waihenga Trust in remembrance of Thelma. It is just by the Centre and faces out over the playground with a plaque recognising Thelma, this is a lovely sunny spot to sit and read or watch the children enjoying the playground.
With the onset of winter and the colder weather it is a great time to stock up on books, so that on a cold and rainy day you can curl up on the sofa with a book(s) you have selected from our Book Sale.
There will be a huge number of books to select from plus our preloved linen and clothing will be available to purchase. If you have books to donate or would like to know more please contact Ronnie Hawkins 06 3069277
This is being held on
Saturday 16th July
10am till 2pm
