What a super month! Martinborough is buzzing from the harvesting of the 2021 grapes to produce our beautiful local wines. This is always a special time of year for our region, a culmination of a years hard work, and I personally can’t wait to see the results!
The opening of the Martinborough Manganese Reduction Plant on 11 March was also a special morning.
Our potable water supply has been a top priority for South Wairarapa District Council, and knowing chlorine can safely be added without turning the water murky is fantastic.
Changes in Central Government around 3 Waters (Drinking water, Wastewater and Stormwater) is moving at a brisk pace. At our Local Government level we look forward to hearing these decisions so we can continue moving forward, looking after this most precious commodity.
Finally I would like to wish all our residents throughout the District a Happy Easter and a wonderful Easter weekend, spending quality time with all your whanau and friends.
