Reminiscing on his New Zealand tour comedian John Cleese laughed about his breakfast omelette at one hotel:
“I remember asking for an omelette, then as she leaving I stopped the waitress to ensure she had the message (everything tends to go wrong in New Zealand) I said very clearly ‘an omelette with three eggs’.
And then I got my omelette – with three fried eggs on top. You know how some things are more obscene than you anticipated; well when you cut it fried eggs on an omelette is absolutely unwatchable”
