RWNZ Martinborough Raise Funds for Wharekaka

Recently Rural Women New Zealand Martinborough Branch hosted a book launch for Carole Brungar’s book The Nam Legacy which was very successful. The idea for the Martinborough Branch to get involved was the brainchild of member Di McGrigor who is a friend of Carole’s. It was decided that funds raised would go towards Wharekaka and their special projects such as raised garden beds or an All terrain wheel chair.
Three local Martinborough Branch Members Viv Malneek, Carolyn Nicol & Liz Hancock presented a cheque for $1,000. Pictured is Carolyn Thompson (left) from the Wharekaka Auxillary and Viv Malneek RWNZ Martinborough Branch President.
