Life Flight helicopter picking up a road accident patient

Life Flight’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Air Ambulance Plane helped 95 people across New Zealand between 1-24 October. 12 of those patients are from the Wairarapa region.
This included the search and rescue of an injured hunter, the roadside care and transfer of a patient following a motorcycle accident and the urgent transfer of a premature baby to the NICU Ward at Wellington Hospital.
