Mark your calendar for Saturday 17th October for a novel fundraiser. FOMS (Friends of Martinborough School) have come up with a novel attraction in a tour of eleven fabulous Martinborough kitchens, with a bonus demonstration stop at local joiner Graeme Jacobson’s.
There is lots of variety including: farmhouse, modern, budget as well as brand new and re-modelled. So, something for all tastes and budgets if you are thinking of renovating your kitchen and looking for ideas – or simply interested in seeing different kitchens. Maybe an opportunity to be inspired to consider improvements to your own kitchen?
This is a self drive tour with the kitchens being on view from 10am until 4pm. Ticket holders first register at the School Hall (from 9am) where they will be given their goody bag complete with map and booklet with information about each kitchen.
There will also be toilets, Tea/Coffee and delicious home-made baking available in the school hall throughout the day. It is probably important to note that there is no wheelchair access to the kitchens, definitely no dogs allowed and it is not suitable for children.
This event is to raise the necessary funds for the construction of a new playground at Martinborough School to replace the current one, which will be lost when the school’s two new classrooms are built.
Tickets are available now at Martinborough School office, Martinborough & Masterton I-Sites and selected shops in town, as well as on the day from Martinborough School Hall (from 9am). However tickets are limited, so it pays to book ahead rather than leave it to the day!
