Spring is here and although these warmer days and nights are the promise of summer just around the corner, they are also responsible for the abundant ‘spring growth’ of the berms.
South Wairarapa District Council would like to remind residents to take responsibility for mowing the berms (also known as verges) in front of their properties.
If you are unable to mow your berm please contact the Council.
If you have a lawn mowing service (including services for holiday homes and rental properties) please include the berm on the mowing schedule.
If your berm has got too long for your mower, please contact the Council, as we will be happy to assist you with the initial cut.
