Past President Beth Taylor has planning well under way for our club’s participation in this year’s Greytown Christmas Parade, and it promises to be a lot of fun with South Wairarapa Rotary entering a float. Also in plan is a get-together with Featherston Lions at The Tin Hut, which we’re looking forward to as it’s always great to meet with other local service groups when we can share ideas and get to know each other better.
On Sept 19th , we organised an orientation meeting for our club’s new members at Greytown’s White Swan to explain traditions and aims of Rotary and how we interact with and support the community.
In September, our Board were pleased to receive applications for funding from and approve grants to Kuranui College’s netball team, and St Teresa’s school.
