CROSS COUNTRY
A dozen South Wairarapa school met to compete at the testing Kahutara School cross country course. While the weather gods have usually smiled kindly on this annual event this year proved to be the exception. Following a series of very cold southerly fronts the temperature was very low and the track very wet. The less sure footed ended up very muddy competitors.
Nevertheless, once again, it was a very successful event with some impressive young runners to the fore.
