Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients
450gr Scotty’s rump steak
tbs oil
150gr mushrooms
2 tbs tomato paste
200gr plain yoghurt
2 medium onions
4 tbs red wine
50 mil stock
flour, paprika, salt, pepper.
Method
Cut steak into thin strips, dip in flour and shake off surplus.
Pour oil into the frying pan and cook steak until brown. Add sliced mushrooms and onions and cook until tender – 5 or 6 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook gently stiring slowly until well mixed and heated through – do not allow to boil.
Serve with rice and coleslaw
