At the beginning of their current term members of the Martinborough Community Board sat down together to decide what they
would like individually to contribute to their community whilst in office. Adi McMaster decided to work on making the town pool more attractive and user friendly.
Adi set to work. Help was enthusiastically given. The school were very keen and organized themselves into a art committee. Council provided funding for sheets of ply, rollers and brushes. Nigel McCartney from Country Mile donated all his left over Resene paints and a 10 litre pail of sealer The mayor provided an application for the Resene’s annual national mural competition and Matt Guild came on board as a creative adviser.
