The biggest ever crowd turned out in beautiful conditions to enjoy plenty of laughs and plenty of laughs is what they got.
With a very good ‘field’ competing for the coveted miniature barrel trophy it was clearly going to be a tight race. Despite a warning against cheating from the starting officer some ungentlemanly exchanges around the course were eagerly anticipated by the crowd. Although these eventuated no official protest were lodged and Martinborough Vineyard were crowned winners, retaining the trophy for another year. A special cheer went up for a new entrant this year, the Big Sky Vineyard team, for a very valiant effort.
Some innovative outfits added to the fun atmosphere Along with Ninjas there were Capt. Hook, a lady in an advanced state of pregnancy, fairies and other odd bods.
